This course is the first diving level. You will have to complete a course which will provide you with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to scuba dive safely on your own. Once you have completed the course, you will be awarded a Certification, recognised all over the world, entitling you to scuba dive to depths of 18 metres wherever in the world and with no need for a dive guide. A Beginners' course comprises three theoretical sessions (Knowledge Development), five practical sessions in a pool or in shallow water in the sea (Confined Water Dives) and four dives in the sea (Open Water Dives).

Prerequisites
Swimming skills, Minimum age of 10 years old (Open Water Junior) and 15 (senior), medical statement signed by the participant, and parental authorization for minors.
