WATER DIVER

This course is the first diving level. You will have to complete a course which will provide you with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to scuba dive safely on your own. Once you have completed the course, you will be awarded a SSI Certification, recognised the world over, entitling you to scuba dive to depths of 18 metres wherever in the world and with no need for a dive guide. A Beginner's course comprises three theoretical sessions (Knowledge Development), five practical sessions in a pool or in shallow water in the sea (Confined Water Dives) and four dives in the sea (Open Water Dives).

The course includes

Diving certification, 4 Open Water Dives, boat Dive, 5 Confined Water Dives, full diving equipment, computer dive, 3 theoretical sessions, study package, manual and DVD, the Diversub card entitles you to a range of deals and discounts for the purchase and rental of diving gear (look out for exclusive, Diversub members-only special offers), free access to premises and parking facility.

Prerequisites

Swimming skills, minimum age of 10 years old (Open Water Junior) and 15 (Senior), medical clearance of fitness to dive.
